My journey into the gaming world began when my dad gave me a Nintendo 64 right before I was born! Ever since, I have been a passionate gamer and pursued a career to create virtual experiences that amaze and impact people’s lives as they did (and still do) to me.
I graduated in 2019 as a Software Engineer bachelor’s at the Federal University of Goiás, one of Brazil’s best and most innovative public universities. During these years, I did my best to bridge the knowledge I’ve acquired towards game development, and so I’ve managed to integrate high quality code design and programming into all projects and teams I’ve worked with. The same process also happened during my Master’s at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, in Portugal, where I also had the opportunity to study and implement a number of state-of-the-art technologies and techniques for AR, VR and Multiplayer.
I have been a professional in the gaming industry for the past 6 years and I had the pleasure of working in a wide variety of projects and teams, ranging from 2D pixel art, low poly and realistic 3D, AR/VR, Web3 and mobile games, both in Brazil and abroad, more recently in Tokyo, where I’ve lived for 6 months. I’m proud to state that I have made lasting friendships and partnerships in all places I have worked and with many clients I’ve dealt with!
In 2022, one of my side-projects, a Unity produced YouTube animation channel called “História Militar Brasileira” (Brazilian Military History) was awarded by the Brazilian Army for it’s cultural merit of preserving the national history, and I got to visit one of the battlefields I’ve portrayed!
Whether it’s by developing casual mobile apps, programming Unity tools, experimenting new gaming tech or modelling a 3D vehicle, I’m always involved in the game development world, and I really love doing it!
